The world's first rearview mirror periscope helmet.

Interesting. I wonder how distracting that would be. Sure would be nice to have a better rearward view, though. Sportbike mirrors suck.

Yes, most sportbike mirrors are useless (save for my ZX11 big antenna mirrors).

From what I have heard, the Reevu gets mixed reviews... lots of people love the mirror view, and others hate it.

I'd like to try one for myself and make my own decision.

Bump for the sudden interest in this helmet.

i contacted these guys about where to get one of these helmets in the US and this is their response

Due to changes being made at the production facility in Italy, the helmets are not currently in production. This should be resolved in the 1st quarter of 2009 when we hope to have the DOT and US distribution in place, although we will not have an exact time frame until next year, this has took longer than anticipated.

Please find attached a brochure. We have a US mailing list and can contact you when the helmets are available in the States.

Thanks for the update. I am also keeping an eye out for one of them when they come to the states.

It seems like a good idea. I'm guessing it would have to used in conjunction with the existing bar mirrors. Otherwise the blind spot would be huge. It looks distracting though. In my experience, 97% the danger in motorcycling comes about 120 degrees back and forward on either side. Whats directly behind me GENERALY is not a problem. I personally wouldn’t buy one of these.
