looking for the mesh mods for my wife's katana. anyone out there make and sell these. if not point me in the right direction so I can make them myself

Lots of people just get the mesh at Home Depot or Lowes and then hot glue, epoxy or otherwise use an adhesive to attach the mesh to the fairing from the inside. It's a fairly simple mod.

I dont think I have ever seen a kit sold...

Here is a neat idea: http://www.katriders.com/forums/vie...ight=mesh+howto

That would be different than all the other kat mesh mods I have seen. Good idea!

I second what Falcn's talking about. You can use the common aluminum gutter guard from Home Depot, etc. to do this. All you need is a set of snips, and a hot glue gun or epoxy (Automotive Goop might even do). Cut the gutter guard to shape with about 3/8"-1/2" overhang, bend to shape, and glue it down. Make sure the surface is clean before gluing... You can even spray paint it a complimentary color before gluing it down. Also, be sure not to mesh over the hole with your idle adjustment screw!
